The Furnace

In the book of Acts, all the followers were together in one place to worship and pray. Then something happened …

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a noise like a strong, blowing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw something like flames of fire that were separated and stood over each person there. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak different languages by the power the Holy Spirit was giving them”
—Acts 2:1-4

There is something powerful about taking time as a community to seek the Lord in prayer and worship together. The goal of the furnace is for that same fire to fill our hearts with passion for Jesus. With others you will praise His name in live worship to connect with His emotions for the nations. Then you then together intercede for those nations, Bethany International, and your fellow students. Time is also spent in evangelism through the Minneapolis areas.

(The Furnace is an annual event and takes place in conjunction with The Forge event. Students choose between the two events each year.)
