New President of Bethany Global University Selected: David M. Hasz
David Hasz to provide leadership and vision to Bethany Global University as President.
MINNEAPOLIS, October 5, 2020 – The Bethany Global University Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. David Hasz has been selected as President of Bethany Global University. He assumes his responsibilities on October 5th, 2020. The President of Bethany Global University is responsible for providing leadership developing the vision, fulfilling the mission, achieving growth goals, overseeing operational management, and securing funds for the university.
Bethany Global University is a key strategy of Bethany International’s mission to “take the church to where it is not and help others do the same.” Mr. Hasz’s commitment to and vision for fulfilling that mission is one of the strengths he brings to this role.
Daniel Brokke, President/CEO of Bethany International the parent organization, served for 14 years as the President of BGU commented, “I am thrilled to have David step into this role. He and I have worked together for many years. He has proven to be a trusted and capable leader who has earned the respect of our Bethany team.”
Mr. Hasz joined the University in 2013 as Vice President, giving leadership to enrollment and student life. In 2017, he was appointed as Executive Vice President and Provost. He provided leadership during a time when BGU received accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education and when enrollment increased 4-fold.
Daniel Brokke is pleased to have a strong team in place at BGU, with a vibrant student body and a positive vision of the future widely embraced by the BGU team. David Hasz has been a part of the journey and is the right person to lead BGU into the future.
