Grayling Trees, a seasoned missionary to France, is fluent in both the french language and in understanding the french culture. Today during Bethany chapel, Mr. Trees took the mic and gave us a very powerful message he called the Moses Revelation.

It’s in a broken vessel, a broken and contrite person, that the light of Jesus can be carried. No other vessel will do but the broken one (Isaiah 57:15, Psalm 51:17).We carry inside us something that no one else carries. Inside every Christian man, woman, and child is the light of Jesus. The well meaning unbelievers, the sincere atheists, and the peace loving Muslims, though their motives are truly benign, all lack the quintessential presence of God inside them. That is what makes us different. That is what people deeply long for: the presence of God. Believe me when I tell you that if you are abiding in the Vine then others can tell how different you are. It’s not simply because of your actions, it’s because they can see in your eyes, the light of your body, that you have something they don’t have…or know Someone they don’t know.

When Moses met with the Lord in the desert, he found a bush. What made this bush stand out from all the other bushes was the fire of God burning in it. That is why it’s called the Moses Revelation. It is my prayer that we too have the fire of God burning inside of us so that all those around us can tell that we have been with the Lord.

And they will notice; not necessarily because of what you do or even because of what you say, but because they just can.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? – 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 ESV

For by what shall it be known that I and Your people have found favor in Your sight? Is it not in Your going with us so that we are distinguished, I and Your people, from all the other people upon the face of the earth? -Exodus 33:16 AMP
