The Master of Arts in Intercultural Disability Ministry equips students to serve and lead alongside people with disabilities in a global context. This program prepares graduates with practical strategies for evangelism, discipleship, and advocacy while shaping a biblical worldview of disability rooted in God’s sovereignty and image. Students learn to transform church culture, remove barriers to belonging, and empower individuals with disabilities to use their gifts in ministry and leadership—strengthening both the church and its witness to the world.
The curriculum combines biblical theology, intercultural studies, and specialized training in disability ministry. Students may complete the 36-credit program through a course-based track of 12 classes, or choose the thesis track, which includes 7 core courses in Bible, Theology, and Disability Ministry along with a 15-credit thesis.
Students may elect to take twelve (12) courses (3 credits each) to complete the 36-credit Master of Arts in Intercultural Disability Ministry degree program.

The Thesis Track gives students the option of 7 courses from Bible and Theology, Mission Studies, Education, Leadership, a Research Methods course, and a 15 credit thesis. The thesis must relate to the application of mission education concepts to the student’s current or anticipated ministry. The total number of credits is 36.

Graduates of the M.A. in Intercultural Disability Ministry are prepared to lead and serve in churches, mission organizations, schools, and nonprofit settings—equipping communities worldwide to embrace and empower people with disabilities.
