BGU students gain hands-on experience in their field of study through our Global Internship program in more ways than one. As part of our affordable tuition model, students learn how to fundraise the cost of the program, learning valuable life and partnership skills along the way.
Paving the Way to Internship
BGU students fundraise the cost of the Global Internship program, rather than paying out of pocket. Students start the fundraising process through a partnership development course, to learn best practices and methods for building their network and partnerships. This model, combined with BGU’s scholarship opportunities, keeps tuition affordable, allowing students to pursue their degrees and graduate with little to no debt.
The Global Internship program runs on a semester basis, beginning the Sophomore year with opportunities to field to internship locations. It includes field preparation before leaving and debrief after returning. Every undergraduate student participates in Global Internship as part of their degree requirement for graduation.
