Experience a Life-Giving Community
BGU offers several resources to support students in their studies, faith journey, and emotional well-being.
Resources for Students
Whether you need encouragement, mentorship, prayer, or help with your studies, BGU staff is here for you every step of the way. Explore the resources available to help you thrive.
BGU students have access to a variety of academic support resources. Students needing guidance on completing assignments can work with an educational support specialist, who meets with them to provide coaching and personalized study plans. BGU students also have access to our Student Resource Center, where staff host study hours and help with writing, proofing, and editing.
Personal Ministry Appointments
Personal Ministry Appointments (PMA) provide students a safe environment to connect with experienced staff to talk about mental health and receive prayer and mentorship. These appointments give students the space to walk through any challenges or difficulties they may be facing as they attend school.
At the beginning of each school year, students are placed in a Lifegroup where they build Christ-centered relationships and openly share how the Lord is working in their hearts. Led by a Student Life Advisor (SLA), Lifegroup is a time set aside for prayer, teaching, biblically-based discussions, and accountability in areas of spiritual growth.
