Bethany Global University Partners with Joni and Friends to Launch Master of Arts in Intercultural Disability Ministry

AGOURA HILLS, CA—Joni and Friends recently hosted Dr. David Hasz (President and CEO of Bethany) and Dr. Darin Kindle (Sr. Vice President of Bethany Global University) at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center to commemorate their new partnership to launch the Master of Arts in Intercultural Disability Ministry. Joni Eareckson Tada, Founder and CEO led the signing ceremony, sharing her excitement for the launch of the new program.

“I’m so excited that our partnership with Bethany Global University will provide an ingenious way for Christian workers to do missionary work in closed-access countries. What better way to forge relationships in a resistant culture than by practicing Christ’s love through disability services?! And our new BGU degree program in Intercultural Disability Ministry will equip believers to do just that! I thank God for our friends at Bethany Global University and their creative approach to advancing the cause of Christ in this unusual, but powerful way,” said Tada.

The new online program will launch in August 2023. More information about the program can be found here.
